Private Practice for Psychotherapy
Welcome
Sometimes life gets out of balance. Stressful life events, ongoing mental health issues, or the desire for personal change can make it helpful to seek support. In such situations, I will guide you on your individual journey with openness, respect, and a trusting therapeutic partnership.
my approach
science meets human warmth
I view psychotherapy as a collaborative process. You bring the most important expertise to the table, because you know your own experiences and goals best. I see my role as supporting you with professional expertise, opening up new perspectives, and working with you to develop helpful strategies for your daily life.
It is important to me that the treatment is tailored to your personal needs. In addition to a scientifically grounded therapeutic approach, there is also room for lightheartedness, humor, and a trusting relationship. My therapeutic approach is based on scientifically recognized behavioral therapy and is supplemented by elements of schema therapy as well as mindfulness-based practices.
Every person brings a unique life story and individual experiences to the table. That is why I treat all patients with respect, openness, and appreciation. A sensitive and non-discriminatory approach—particularly with regard to LGBTQIA+ issues as well as experiences with racism and other forms of discrimination—is a given for me.

About me
After completing my master’s degree in psychology at Maastricht University, I received my license as a psychological psychotherapist specializing in behavioral therapy from AVT Cologne in 2020. Since then, I have worked extensively in various therapeutic settings.
During my first years of my career, I worked in Cologne for a year before moving to Berlin in 2021, where I have since been offering outpatient psychotherapy and have supported numerous clients in their personal development over the years.
As part of my training, I was active at the University Hospital of Bonn, where I led various group therapy programs. These included social skills training as well as groups for people with depression, alcohol and substance use disorders, and CBASP groups for people with chronic depression.
In addition to my medical license, I hold additional qualifications in group therapy, CBASP (Cognitive Behavioral Analysis System of Psychotherapy), and in practice-based and suggestive techniques, including autogenic training, progressive muscle relaxation, and hypnotherapy. I integrate these methods into treatment in a targeted manner, based on your individual concerns and goals, to effectively support the therapeutic process and ensure it is scientifically sound.
